I am so pleased with it all and it made me feel a lot more confident.

Our practice is dedicated to preventive measures to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. Our hygienist is available to ensure continued oral health for everyone.
Our dental hygienist has three main roles:
Teaching patients good oral hygeine techniques, individually tailored to specific needs.
Removing calculus (tartar) from teeth - scaling and polishing
Treating gum disease (also known as 'gingivitis' or 'periodontitis') - caused by plaque, a sticky film of bacteria, if left untreated gums start to swell and bleed which will ultimately result in tooth loss.
Did you know we can help you avoid, Bad Breath, Bleeding Gums and the possibility of Tooth Loss from Gum Disease?
You may not realise that persistent sore, swollen, red, or bleeding gums as well as tooth pain or sensitivity and bad breath are warning signs of periodontal disease (gum disease) – a serious infection that, left untreated, may lead to tooth loss. The main cause of periodontal disease is bacterial plaque, a sticky, colourless film that constantly forms on your teeth. However, factors like smoking, stress and genetics also affect the health of your gums.
